Thanks Amar,

I think I was looking at the Chunnel going from London to Lille & Then onto Amiens. One way only on the 14th September. From Amiens I need to go by train to Zurich on the 19th September.

I am a little nervous about the under seas trip & wondered if it is feasible to go by train & ferry.I am in Australia so it is all a little confusing.

Hello Rosanne,

Thanks for the reply.

For your travel from London to Lille you can book now itself as the schedules are available on the website. But for your travel from Lille to Amiens and Amiens to Zurich the schedules will be loaded 3 months in advance to the travel date so you can book around in 14th of June 2016.

You can follow the below route for your travel:

- London to LilleEurostar train.

- Lille to AmiensTER train.

- Amiens to Zurich via Paris – TER and TGV Lyria trains.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Unfortunately we cannot comment on other modes of transport. For ferry you will need to check it locally.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
