best ticket option

We are 2 seniors looking to travel from Budapest to Vienna on the 15/5/17 for 3 days and then on to Salzburg on 18/5/17 for 3 days and then finally to Munich on the 21/5/17.

I have priced individual tickets and they seem quite pricey as only the flex option is available.

Is there a more economical way to do that one-way trip ??.

I have looked at rail pass for 2 countries without much success.

Thank you

Hello John,

Thanks for the question.

As per your Itinerary, it is best to purchase point to point ticket for your travel as a Pass is advised if you travel extensively.

You can book and travel as follows:

- Budapest to Vienna - Railjet train.

- Vienna to Salzburg - Railjet train.

- Salzburg to Munich - Railjet train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
