Best value - Renfe Spain pass, Spain pass, or point to point tickets?

Inclusive of all booking fees, seat reservations and any other fees - I am looking to find out exactly which pass would be of best value pass/tickets for our July trip.

8 July - Barcelona to San Sebastian

11 July - San Sebastian to undecided (possibly Salamanca)

13 July - undecided to Madrid

23 July - Madrid to Valencia

25 July - Madrid to Barcelona

Please advise..

Dear Hannah,

Thank you for your question.

Renfe Spain pass is advised for your travel.

The Renfe Spain Pass is the most comprehensive pass to visit Spain.

Remember to retrieve your reservation at a local station before boarding a high speed train. The reservation is included in your Renfe Spain Pass. No surcharge applies.

Print your Renfe Spain Pass and go to a local Spanish train station to confirm your seat reservations before travelling.

Seat reservations are included in the price of your pass. You won’t have to pay a surcharge.

Hope this helps!!
