Best way to go London-Nancy-Paris

We need to travel from London to Nancy in France, stay 3 days, then go to Paris.

What is the best way to do this? I assume we would need to go from St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord, then a different train from Paris to Nancy? How long should we allow after arriving in Paris before getting the train to Nancy? How long will the train to Nancy take?

Thank you.

Hello Cathy,

Thanks for your question.

Indeed you are right, to travel from London to Nancy you would have to start your journey from London St Pancras to Paris Nord and then further to Nancy.

- London St Pancras to Paris Nord - Eurostar train.

- Paris Est to Nancy - TGV France-Germany train.

- Nancy to Paris - TGV France-Germany train.

The connecting time between Paris Nord and Paris Est is enough for you to get on the other leg of your journey.

Your total travel time would be approximately 4 hours 50 minutes.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website,

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Hope this helps!!!
