Budapest to Venice Overnight Train

Hi, please refer to the overnight train from Budapest to Venice on the 18th of Sept. Departs Budapest at 6.40pm

The transit time is 6mins in Vienna. Will this be enough time to change trains?? Please advise and provide tips on making this transit as easy as possible.

Also, please provide details of the trip, e.g sleeping arrangements, whether reservation is included etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Shikha,

Thanks for the question.

Please note that connecting time of more than 15 minutes is required for you to board your next train provided that you have minimum luggage. You can break and book each sector separately ans travel.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab which is below "Proceed to Shopping Cart" to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

If it says "Reservations included" you will avail seats.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
