Can we take a night train on any of the legs in our itinerary?

Our itinerary is as follows Dec 17 Paris to Munich, Dec 19 Munich to Vienna, Dec 22 Vienna to Budapest, 25 Dec Budapest to Bratislava, 27 Dec Bratislava to Prague, Dec 30 Prague to Berlin, 1 Jan Berlin to Amsterdam, 3 Jan Amsterdam to Paris, are we able to do any of these legs by night train if we take a 21 day global pass?

If we can how do you book it as when we put in the dates and destinations it doesn't give us the option of a night train.

Hello Roland,

Thank you for your question

The following travel segments can be booked on night train:

- BUDAPEST - WIEN : EURONIGHT

- WIEN - BRATISLAVA : Train Eurocites

- BRATISLAVA - PRAGUE: EURONIGHT

- BERLIN - AMSTERDAM VIA STUTTGART : ICE & City Night Line

Reservations are mandatory on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains. With a Pass the seat reservations will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "book a compulsory seat reservation when using your rail pass" & then feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

However due to winter schedule change the trains for your travel date are not loaded. Hence you won’t find connections on the website for this date.

Request you to try booking closer to departure date.

Regards
