Help: Switzerland Itinerary 7 days

I will be in Lugano (Switzerland) on 7th April 2016 and will be staying overnight with my Family (Wife and 3 year old son)

I need some help to finalize my itinerary

Things I want to do: Rail Scenic journey (Not too long Max 4 hours), Jungfraujh, Mt titlis

I will be in Switzerland from 7th April (Lugano) to 13th April(Zurich) as I have return flight from Zurichon 14th April at 8:30Am.

Please also suggest which pass will be better or it will be good to get point to point tickets.

Hello Manoj,

Thanks for the question.

For your travel to Switzerland I would suggest you to Swiss Travel Pass.

For your pass you will get the following benefits:

Children below 16 years are free if accompanied by the at least one parent having a Swiss Pass. We issue a Swiss family card for children. As you have a child before 4 years, there is no need to issue a Swiss Family card.

With a Swiss Travel Pass you can travel free within Switzerland on the STS (Swiss Travel System) network on trains, buses and boats. Also with a Swiss Pass you would get discounts on mountain excursions within Switzerland. These discounts can only be availed locally by showing your Swiss Pass to the ticketing office in Switzerland. For the scenic train routes, you can opt for Golden Pass or Bernina Express.

With a Swiss Travel Pass you can travel free on intercity trains within Switzerland.

To purchase the pass click “Here”.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
