Hello Keith,

Thanks for your question.

• As you are travelling extensively through UK, may we suggest that you purchase a Britrail Pass. Your Britrail Pass will also allow you to avail of a special Passholder fare on the Eurostar between London and Paris.

• Seat reservations can only be made locally.

• Seat reservations for any trains can be made at any station with a ticket office covered on the pass.

• Seat reservations are not compulsory in the UK (except night trains) and are not available on every train.

Your routing on the Britrail Pass would be as follows:

- Holyhead to Llandudno – ATOC train.

- Llandudno to Penrith via Warrington Bank Quay - Other trains.

- Penrith to Keswick – Penrith – By coach

- Penrith to Glasgow – direct train

- Glasgow to Inverness – direct train

- Inverness to Thurso – ATOC train.

- Thurso to Edinburgh via Inverness – ATOC train.

- Edinburgh to London – ATOC train.

- London to ParisEurostar train. ( Passhodler fare Bookable on our website ). The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "Seat Reservations“ & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

For your onward journey from Paris to Lyon and onward to Milan, we suggest that you purchase point-to-point tickets as they would prove cheaper that a France-Italy pass (plus reservations fees).

Your routing would be:

- Paris to LyonTGV Duplex train. ( Bookable on our website ).

- Lyon to MilanTGV France-Italy train. ( Bookable on our website ).

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!
