Need advice on which trains go to the towns we wish to travel to in France

We are a group of 4 adults. We travel from London 23 June to Marseille.

Marseille to Bordeaux 25 June.

Bordeaux to Saumur 28 June.

Saumur to Mont St Michel 1 July.

Mont St Michel to beaulencourt british cemetery ligny thilloy

We are not sure if there are connecting trains at all of these towns.

Can you confirm these are all on the Railpass lines and if there is not a station at beaulencourt british cemetery ligny thilloy france, which town is the closest.

Hello Vicki,

Thanks for your question.

Travel as follows:

- London to ParisEurostar train.

- Paris to MarseilleTGV train.

- Marseille to Bordeaux – Corail Teoz train.

- Bordeaux to Tours via St Pierre Des Corps – TGV Atlantique and Navette trains.

- Tours to SaumurTER train.

- Saumur to Rennes via Nantes – TER trains.

- Rennes to Mont St Michel – Bus service. Return to Rennes.

- Rennes to Paris Montparnasse – TGV Atlantique train.

- Paris Nord to Amiens – TER train.

From Amiens you would have to travel Beaulencour which is a village to the south of Bapaume. So you would have to book and travel locally to Bapaume from Amiens and then head to The Beaulencour Cemetery.

The France Rail Pass should be ideal for your extensive travel within France.

This pass will give your extensive travel on all national and regional trains in France without seat reservations.

However, seat reservations are mandatory on all High-Speed (TGV/Eurostar etc), Border Crossing, Night (City Night Line) and Scenic trains but you would receive pass holder/discounted fares for the same.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "Seat Reservations“ & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!
