Hello Michael,

Thanks for the question.

You can purchase Eurail Select Pass 4 countries with Austria - Switzerland - France - Italy.

To purchase the Pass click "Here".

You will avail passholder fares from London to Paris as France is included in the Pass which means you will have to only purchase seat reservations for this route with a Pass.

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass. With a Pass you can travel on regional/intercity trains within a country.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Hi ,

Thanks for your help.Still a little lost on how the pass works. I understand the 4 country pass is best for me.However I'm not sure what you mean when you use the word avail as it is not a familiar term here in Australia.Once I purchase the pass can I then go online and reserve seats on any train in those 4 countries by quoting the type of pass I have or do i have to go to each station when in Europe, show the pass and go on board a train? Also can you please explain again the London Paris train. Are you saying because I will have a 4 country pass which includes France I won't have to buy another ticket in London or do I still have to with some sort of discount.

Thanks again

Hello Michael,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, you can purchase seat reservations on the website itself prior your travel to avail confirmed seats. Seat reservations purchased locally at the train station are subject to avaiklability.

Pass holder fares are only available from Paris to London and not vice versa. Hence you will have to purchase a full fare ticket for your travel from London to Paris.

The route to Jungfraujoch is as follows:

Interlaken – Grindelwald/ Lauterbrunnen – Jungfraujoch.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

To purchase seat reservations, kindly follow the above procedure by clicking on "Seat reservations" tab which is on the homepage of our website.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,
