Rail Tickets or Rail Pass

Hi...my partner & I (45 yrs old) are looking to travel by train in August to the following cities on different days and would like to know if it is better to get individual rail tickets or obtain a rail pass. What would be cheaper?

Madrid - Barcelona

Barcelona - Bordeaux

Paris - Milan

Venice - Naples

Hello Dillon,

Thanks for the question.

As you are taking only few journeys for your travel, it is best to purchase point to point ticket for your travel. You can book your travel as below :

- Madrid to Barcelona - AVE trains.

- Barcelona to Bordeaux via 1 connection at Narbonne - France-Spain High Speed and Intercites trains.

- Paris to Milan - TGV France-Italy trains.

- Venice to Naples - Frecciarossa train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!
