Planning to travel by train from London to Portugal. Need help with length of journey and whether to include overnight travel in the ticket. Destination in Portugal can be either Porto or Lisbon. Retrun journey would be from Porto or Lisbon to Paris.

Hello Graham,

Thanks for the question.

As there are no direct trains for your journey you will have to break and book as follows:

- London to Paris - Eurostar train.

- Paris to Lisbon via Irun - TGV and Regional train.

If you wish to travel to Porto you can purchase point to point ticket from Lisbon to Porto as follows:

- Lisbon to Porto - Intercity train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,
