Travel by train from Copenhagen to Zurich

Starting to plan now for travel on 13 months time. First idea is this one but I need to plan the route from Copenhagen to Zurich. I Need to know the most direct route and where I may break the journey en route. I know it's vague but I have to start somewhere. I am unused to rail travel in Europe except for the TGV from Paris to Nice. Have rented a car in the past

Hello David

Thanks for your question.

Your travel sectors can be booked only 2 and 3 months in advance. Hence I would not be able to comment on the train schedules as off now. Request you to try booking closer to your departure date.

Your travel will be as follows (as of today) –

- Copenhagen to HamburgICE Train

- Hamburg to Stuttgart – Eurocites Train

- Stuttgart to Zurich – Eurocites Train

In order to book tickets, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then Add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!
