hi, 2 couples from Australia, on a first ever European Holiday. We have 4 weeks in the UK, and that is organised, we depart from London on approx. 2/3rd September 2017, training to Paris, then to Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Prague and depart from Berlin on the 22nd Sept. Have plans to arrive in Berlin on 19th.

Have been trying to use interactive map, but not able. Is this itinerary reasonable? would like to have any suggestions to assist with the arrangements and what would be the best tickets to purchase and when? 2nd class travel is ideal for us. thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Kerrie,

Thanks for the question.

As per the travel itinerary you can purchase Eurail 4 country Pass for France-Benelux-Germany-Czech Republic. The pass will allow you to travel on all regional and domestic trains within the countries mentioned.

To purchase the pass click "Here".

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website www.raileurope.com.au

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

With the pass you will need to purchase only seat reservation for travel from London to Paris. However the pass should be valid as it will be counted as journey in the pass day.

Unfortunately we cannot suggest cities and destinations to visit however you can click on the below link for travel ideas and itinerary for your travel.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
