What is the best value and way for booking 2 separate train routes including a 2 person sleeper and seat bookings and reservations?

  • We (2 youths) plan to take 2 one-way train routes early October: One overnight (2 sleeper(October 1st/2nd)) train route from Split in Croatia to Ljubljana in Slovenia, and one train route (October 5th) from Ljubljana in Slovenia to Budapest, Hungary. What is the best value and way for securing our bookings through Rail Europe, including the 2 person sleeper and seat bookings-reservations? Thank you.

Hello Juliet,

Thanks for the question.

You can purchase point to point ticket for your travel and you can also book night trains for your journey on the website.

You can book and travel as follows:

- Split to Ljubljana via Zagreb – Other trains.

- Ljubljana to Budapest via Salzburg and Vienna – Euronight and Eurocities trains.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
